When Corda recommends a publisher, it’s not just handing you the site with the highest DR. Because the right question isn’t which publisher has the highest metric. It’s which publisher fits this page, topic, audience, and goal.
This page explains how to read those recommendations before you commit budget to one.
Start With The Summary, Not The List
Before you scroll into individual publishers, the Opportunities view gives you four numbers that actually matter:
| Summary metric | What it tells you |
| Matched Opportunities | How many verified publishers fit your workspace at all |
| Best-fit Sites | How many clear the AI score threshold for genuine fit |
| High Authority | How many also clear a strong DR bar |
| Average AI Score | The overall portfolio fit across everything matched |
Use this to gauge how deep your options actually are before you start comparing individual sites. A workspace with 100 matched opportunities but only 6 best-fit sites tells you something different than one where most of the list clears the bar.
Check Out The Fit Score As A Starting Point
Every publisher card shows a Fit Score. Like the Authority Intelligence Score, treat it as a summary you drill into, not a verdict you act on directly.
Two publishers can carry the same Fit Score for different reasons. So the score tells you how strong the match is, not why it matches.
Read The Reason Tags First
Under each publisher, Corda states the reason behind the recommendation in plain language. For example, “Topical fit with your workspace niche,”
Traffic is ahead of your current benchmark,” or “Strong value for placement cost.” This is the part that actually explains the fit. DR, DA, traffic, and spam score are context for that reason, not the reason itself.
As a result, read the tags before the numbers, not after.
Check The Metrics As Context, Not A Ranking
Each card also lists DR, Traffic, DA, Spam Score, and Ranking Keywords. These matter, but only in support of the reason above them.
A publisher with a lower DR and a clean topical match to your Target Page is often a better recommendation than one with a higher DR and no real overlap.
So don’t sort the list by any single column and stop there. Check whether the numbers back up the stated reason.
Weigh Cost Against Fit, Not Against DR
Each recommendation shows an estimated placement cost. Compare that cost to the fit and the reason behind it, not to the publisher’s authority score alone.
A cheaper placement with a strong “value for placement cost” tag can do more for your goal than an expensive one with a marginal fit.
Use “Let AI Pick” As An Option Besides Manual Vetting
Corda can select a batch of publishers for you. For example, letting it pick 5, 10, or 15 from the matched list. This is a fast way to build a shortlist.
But it’s still worth reviewing the reason behind each one it picks before you approve. The shortcut saves you the search, not the judgment call.
Turn It Into A Campaign
Once you’ve found publishers whose reasons genuinely connect to your Target Page and goal, you’re ready to select them. Individually or through “Let AI Pick” move into building the campaign that puts them to work.
